What WTFlow Does

WTFlow is a Chrome Extension that enhances Jira boards with flow metrics and probabilistic forecasting. It reads data from Jira boards you visit and computes metrics locally in your browser.

Data We Collect

WTFlow processes the following data from your Jira instance:

  • Jira issue changelog transitions (status changes, timestamps)
  • Board configuration (columns, swimlanes, WIP limits)
  • Issue metadata (keys, titles, assignees, labels)

All data is stored locally in your browser's IndexedDB. No data is transmitted to any server. WTFlow does not have a backend.

Data Sharing

WTFlow does not share any data with third parties. No analytics, no tracking, no telemetry.

Data Retention

Data is stored in IndexedDB for as long as the extension is installed. Historical data older than 90 days is automatically pruned.

Deleting Your Data

You can delete all WTFlow data at any time by:

  • Using the "Clear Data" option in the WTFlow extension settings
  • Uninstalling the extension (removes all IndexedDB data)
  • Clearing your browser's site data for your Jira domain

Chrome Web Store Compliance

The use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Your Rights (GDPR)

Since all data is stored locally on your device and we have no access to it, you are in full control. You may:

  • Access your data via browser DevTools (IndexedDB)
  • Delete your data as described above
  • Object to processing by disabling or uninstalling the extension
